Christmas Cookies

Christmas cookies with white chocolate and pistachios - recipe from "Spis Bedre".

Ingredients (30pcs):

✔️250gr wheat flour

✔️½ tsp. baking powder

✔️1 tsp. licorice powder

✔️30gr unsalted pistachio nuts without shell

✔️30gr white chocolate

✔️180gr butter

✔️250gr sugar

✔️1 egg

Topping:

✔️25gr unsalted pistachio nuts without shell

✔️2 tsp. licorice powder

 

How to:

🔘Mix wheat flour, baking powder and licorice powder. 

🔘Chop pistachios and chocolate roughly, and flip it into the flour mixture. Run the mixture in a stirrer.

🔘Add the butter and stir to an even mass. Add the sugar and then the egg. Drive the pulp to a smooth dough.

🔘Roll the dough into an oblong sausage, and wrap the dough in baking paper and place it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

🔘Cut the dough into ½ cm thick slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking peper.

🔘Bake the cookies in a 180° hot oven for 8-10 minutes.

🔘Sprinkle the cookies with chopped pistchios and licorice powder and allow to cool completely on a baking rack before placing them in a cookie box with tight-fit lid.
